WebsiteMature trees shade a trail that winds behind the University of Nebraska-Omaha campus. Students and nearby homeowners come here often to jog and walk. Be sure to look for a recently refurbished fountain. A natural spring feeds the Spring Grotto, although these days a city well helps to supplement the flow. It is surrounded by a sunken garden. Each July, the park hosts Omaha's Shakespeare on the Green event. Elmwood Park Golf Course stretches along the southern side.
