The festive mood is contagious as the Bahamian spirit engulfs both tourists and locals every summer. Celebrating the Goombay Festival, Andros (a part of the Out Islands) comes to life with food, drinks, music, dance, and entertainment. Swing to the tunes of the Junkanoo and absorb yourself in the local culture. This annual event is celebrated every Friday from June to September. It is also held at Mangrove Cay and Long Bays.
