Located across from the police station, this house once belonged to the Erickson family who came to Inagua in 1934 to run the Morton Salt Company. Thanks to the generosity of the salt giant, this home has been transformed into a library with surprisingly modern facilities and an impressive collection of literature. The museum portion contains permanent exhibits that chronicle local history, including the salt-producing tradition of the island, through artifacts and photographs. Admission is free.
