The waters off Andros offer some of the best and most adventurous diving in the world. Among other unique natural wonders, divers can explore the third largest barrier reef in the world. Advanced divers can brave the "Tongue of the Ocean" on one side of the reef, where the ocean floor drops off to a depth of over 500 fathoms. Other points of interest include various blue holes and shipwrecks. The Andros Scuba Center offers excursions to these points and others.
