EmailThis sleepy fishing village lies on the extreme southern tip of Great Abaco Island. The town has become a popular spot for visitors launching expeditions into nearby Abaco National Park, home of the endangered Bahamian parrot. The notable Hole-in-Wall-Lighthouse also lies near town. You are welcome to climb to the top of the automated lighthouse for panoramic views of the Caribbean. Sandy Point Beach is also renowned for its inordinate number of seashells.
