WebsiteThis factory produces millions of tons of salt annually on its 34,000 acres of reservoirs and 2,000 acres of crystalizing ponds on Inagua. Mountains of white granules rise up throughout the company grounds. Tours show visitors the manufacturing process as well as congregations of flamingos. The beautiful pink birds come to feast on the bountiful brine shrimp supported by runoff from the reservoirs. Admission is free. Tours can be conducted by appointment only.
