One of Eleuthera's most famous and visited attractions, this stretch of powdery sand is the best spot in the Bahamas to "hang ten". Located about two miles south of Gregory Town down along Ocean Boulevard, the beach once played host to innumerable "endless summer" seekers in the 60s. Today, surfing aficionados can usually be seen carving up the waves of the Atlantic from December to May when the surf is at its best (and hurricane season is over).
