This Gothic church is said to be the most beautiful structure on Cat Island. Well known Catholic missionary Father Jerome facilitated the construction of the building with donations. Few churches in the Bahamas can match the aesthetic composition of the frescos and holy sculptures inside the church. The church is not currently in operation, but it stands today as a lovely example of architecture and a monument to Father Jerome's humanitarian efforts. You are welcome to tour the church on your own.
