This is the real thing. The waitress will give you the day's offerings from memory - there are no actual menus - and you'll soon be eating authentic Jamaican food. The unassuming dining room is just a simple space with enough tables to generate atmosphere. Eating here is a social experience, and the surroundings take second place to good conversation and great food. Daily selections feature jerk chicken, red snapper, goat curry, potatoes etc - all served in generous portions. Finish with a fruity pudding, and wash everything down with Jamaican beer. There are no pretensions here - just good, well-made food in a fun environment.
