The Duke of York is situated next to the Westgate car park, which unfortunately dominates the view from the pub. However, the grim view means that the pub has raised its game considerably in an attempt to make itself an attractive destination after all. With its cocktails, karaoke and other events, this lively pub certainly pulls in a big and animated crowd, particularly on the weekends. It has recently been refurbished to give it a much slicker look and its popularity has grown accordingly.
