The surrounding gardens have equally been landscaped and cultivated as they were then, so visitors can stroll the same paths and gaze upon the same scenery as Claude Monet once did, notably the water garden with the famous Japanese bridge and beloved waterlilies. A giftshop and restaurant - Les Nympheas, after the waterlilies - are located just across the street from the Fondation.
