Website | EmailThis bistro doesn’t look like much more than a funky bar from the outside, but once you take a seat and look at the French-Asian fusion menu, all of your doubts will be erased. Chef Leonard Maxime combines traditional French dishes such as classic beef tartare with interesting fusion flavors, like the house specialty of crispy fried prawns and Thai chili sauce. The waiters know the menu backwards and forwards, so ask for a recommendation if you’re hesitant, and be sure to have them help you pick one of the many wines from the cellar to match your meal. The gourmet food doesn’t necessarily match the dive bar décor, but it’s worth it to try some of the masterpieces of this master chef. - Emily Monaco
