Admitted to the National Soccer League in 1996, Perth Glory became, by its third season, a key player on the Perth sports scene. The NSL season runs from September through until May with the major prize being the Ericsson Cup. The club's home ground is Perth Oval and their headquarters are at Perry Lakes Stadium.
