If you have an interest in heritage buildings, this is a fabulous way to visit them. Started in 1995, the Fremantle Ghost Walks offer two tours guided by local storytellers. Ghosts of the West End will take you through haunted buildings including the Round House and Fremantle Prison. Ghosts of the Asylum concentrates on the Fremantle Arts Centre, a lunatic asylum for convicts in the 1860s and supposedly haunted.
