Website | EmailGovernment House, located in extensive English-style grounds, next door to the Perth Concert Hall is the official residence of the Governor of Western Australia. Built from 1859 through to 1864, the grand house has architectural features similar to the Tower of London. As the house is a private residence, it is not usually open to the public except on a few special occasions throughout the year. It is still possible however to sneak a look at the grounds by looking over the low stone wall surrounding the property, especially on the Concert Hall side.
