The hotel just a little to the west of the city center is still only a short ride away from the major attractions. The hotel has an attractive central atrium with railings dressed with sculptured teak, this theme being continued into the guestrooms’ teak paneling. All the large rooms have over-sized beds. The Lobby Lounge, Orchid Coffee Shop and Emperor Chinese Restaurant are all popular, as is the Opal Swimming Pool. At night, the hotel turns into an entertainment center, with live music in the Crystal Nightclub.
