One of the least expensive hotels in this part of town, the Asie has an excellent location from which to explore the downtown delights of Phnom Penh. Like many of the older hotels in the city, the ground floor is mainly a restaurant, rather than being a formal hotel lobby. The restaurant is justifiably busy and forms the centerpiece of the hotel. The rooms are reasonably sized and functional; the staff competent and friendly. The hotel makes an easy overnight stop for those wishing a hassle-free stay in which to take in the city sights.
