The owner of Events with Taste Catering has branched out to open a contemporary Italian restaurant adjacent to the catering kitchen. Utilizing her years of culinary experience, she's updated timeless classics. The former neighborhood Mexican joint has been revamped with gold textured walls, colorful artwork and an exhibition kitchen with a wood-fired oven. Pizzas are the highlight of the lunch menu with eclectic combinations like the Basilica topped with onions, pine nuts, roasted garlic and Parmesan. At dinner, pastas reign supreme.
