Located down a cobblestone alley in Glendale's Historic District, this refined restaurant opens daily for lunch, catering to Glendale's business crowd and to legal eagles from the nearby courthouse. On the weekends, it serves up a sumptuous supper, featuring live music from its piano bar and dancing. Lighted by antique candle-lamps, this intimate eatery is an exercise in elegance. In keeping with the profusion of antique shops here in downtown Glendale, the dining room is set up with wonderful vintage furniture, fixtures and paintings. Lunch consists of hearty steak sandwiches, grills and Reubens, salads and subs. Dinner allows the chef to shine with tender rack of lamb, juicy duck, Chicken Genovese, and slow roasted prime rib. A full bar features a nice selection of single malt whiskey and a smattering of micro-brewed beer.
