When North Phoenix folks have a hankering for slow-smoked meats and tasty sides, they know to head to this unassuming place with a friendly, neighborhood hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. You might have to wait your turn for one of the few tables or one of the seats at the bar, but once you have tasted the brisket, chicken, and ribs, you will be happy to hang around this classic cowpoke barbecue joint. Western paraphernalia and hand-scrawled signs are on the barnboard-paneled walls. Ribs, chicken, beef brisket, pork, and turkey is slow-smoked to perfection and slathered with a tangy-sweet sauce. Sides include two choices of beans, salads and slaws, and wonderfully fresh and flavorful grilled vegetables. Full bar service.
