Located within the Gentle Strength Cooperative, Desert Greens Cafe—environmentally and nutritionally conscious cafe prepares one of the Valley's finest selections of pure vegetarian cuisine. Organic offerings include vegetarian wraps, soups, salads and breads. The Renaissance Feast is a macrobiotic medley of brown rice or grain-of-the-day, beans, steamed vegetables, picked radishes, nori and gomashio. In the "Kiddie Corner" you will find grilled soy or dairy cheese sandwiches and Wonder Dogs (soy hotdogs). Bring cash. Credit cards are not accepted.
