Website | EmailOregon's most popular event, this floral parade is also America's second largest, behind the famous Pasadena Rose Parade on New Year's Day. For almost a century, Portland has been celebrating the sumptuous blossom with the Rose Festival and this event is a festival favorite. More than two million people come to view the all-floral floats. Other parade staples include horses, clowns and marching bands. Reserved seat tickets will have to be bought, but the show is free if you can find a piece of sidewalk.
