Website | EmailThis 200-acre city park features an extinct volcano, one of the only two urban volcanoes in North America. (The other is in Bend, Oregon.) Climb to the top for one of the best views offered from the Eastside. Lots of open space makes it a good place for Frisbee, basketball, tennis and other activities. There is plenty of room for group picnics, and young children will enjoy the playground area. Conveniently located near the hip Hawthorne District, this is a come-as-you-are park.
