WebsitePortland Parks and Recreation sponsors these popular van tours. Dick Pintarich, a Portland writer and historian, guides you through the history of Oregon and the city. Visit many of Greater Portland's landmarks and attractions—the Oregon Trail, the path Lewis and Clark took to Astoria, Portland cemeteries and the Columbia River Gorge to name a few. Offered April through October, tours last most of a day. This tour has a minimum age of 17 years old to participate in the tour.
