Website | EmailThis hotel which incidentally was also the first coffee house in Bohemia, was burnt to the ground during Hussite times. Hotel U Tri Ptros (or 'At the Three Ostriches') is said to have got its name after hosting a foreign delegation which was carrying three ostriches as a present for Emperor Charles IV. Its structure has been elegantly renovated and maintained and it is therefore considered to be one of the most quaint hotels in the city. The painted wooden Renaissance ceilings and stunning views of Charles Bridge add to its charm.
