This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in South Africa. Situated in the heart of the city and on the longest street in the world, Church street, the square is home to the statue of one of South Africa's former Presidents, Paul Kruger. The statue is carefully guarded by four bronze figures representing citizens of the Kruger regime. The square's garden is well maintained and gives visitors the chance to rest under the beautiful Jacaranda trees and feed pigeons.
