Brand new and smart

Hverfisgata 46

A brand new place that prides itself on its extensive wine collection. Specialising in seafood as so many of the modern Icelandic restaurants, this is a branch of the very fashionable restaurant Karolína in the northern town of Akureyri, located centrally at Hverfisgata, the street lying parallel to Laugavegur. The decor is successfully modern and smart, mixing light wood and steel, providing visual pleasure as well as culinary. The menu is heavy on fish and seafood, while also offering international cuisine, elegantly decorated and served.
