Website | EmailOne of the best places in Reykjavík for a Pizza, Eldsmiðjan has unfortunately foregone its bright pink façade, exchanging it for a less exiting brown. Still it stands out, on the corner of Bragagata and Freyjugata, in the beautiful neighbourhood of Þingholt, one of the oldest parts of Reykjavík. Eldsmiðjan has been in business since 1986, and prides itself on baking their pizzas by the fire of Icelandic birch from the woods of Hallormsstaðaskógur, which besides adding to the flavour sounds ecological and natural.
