WebsiteLocated in Zona Norte in the Quinta da Boa Vista, this museum covers archaeological as well as botanical, zoological and ethnological subjects. The extensive collection is housed in an old, majestic Neoclassical building within 200 meters of the main park. There are exhibits on other Latin cultures and objects from other foreign countries as well. The main collection consists of artefacts related to daily life in the diverse regions of Brazil over an extended period of time.
