This structure was created in order to conserve and encourage popular Roman theatre, as well as the culture, language and true spirit of Rome, by initiative of Fiorenzo Fiorentino, an enthusiast of the city and its traditions. To this end, an acting school was founded within the theatre premises, exclusively dedicated to traditional Roman texts.
