Teatro Romano di Ostia Antica, located in Ostia Antica, was built by Augusto at the end of the first millennium and was rebuilt in brick in 196 CE. Although the theater has undergone reconstruction since then, the original walls can still be seen. The theater may seem like just a historic site, but it is still active, hosting performances that range from concerts to plays. The theater can hold up to 3000 people.
