WebsiteThis museum traces the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the pioneers who built a city on the shores of the Great Salt Lake. Visitors enjoy exhibits including an original covered wagon and a selection of Joseph Smith's transcripts. Free 40-minute audio tours are available and exhibits are changed periodically to keep locals coming back for more. Children will enjoy the interactive exhibits and adults will appreciate the variety of the museum's excellent presentation of Mormon doctrine and history. Admission is free.
