WebsiteAmong the seemingly endless Christmas-themed musical events taking place every December in Salzburg is this performance, from which all proceeds go to local charities. Organized by and for the benefit of the Salzburg National Aid, the event features traditional Austrian music and dance, along with a charming variety of plays commemorating Jesus’ birth. This less lavish, more community-oriented Christmas event offers perhaps a truer picture of Salzburg society; eight performances over three days are held at the Großer Saal at the Mozarteum in the Old Town.
