Website | EmailEvery autumn, during the end of September and beginning of October, events are held to celebrate agricultural traditions, with the whole period being termed 'Bauernherbst' (Farmers' autumn). You can get more information about the schedule of events by phoning the organizers, or by fax and on the Internet. There is a lot to do, including watching cows being brought down from the alps, watching the harvest, visiting organic farms and seeing flour being ground and made into bread. Children are especially fond of the Bauernherbst and many of them delight at getting to know the animal world in such a fun way. Lots of restaurants step up the number of regional specialities on their menu during this time and you can buy fresh produce from the farms that take part.
Open Hours: Ende August bis Anfang Oktober
