Website | EmailSince the mega cinema Cineplexx has opened it's doors in Salzburg, the smaller city cinemas have struggles to fill their halls. The Elmo, next to the Lehener bridge on the Salzach, offers various cheap entrance fees on certain weekdays. Visitors can really get some profit out of this, just call before you go to the cinema and ask for the weekly "cheap days." Especially interesting for English speaking visitors is the so called "Sneak Preview" every Tuesday—that is a new movie in the English original version. Admission: EUR 7; reduced rates for students, cheap days EUR5.
