The old Petersbrunnerhof is once again buzzing with life. A few years ago, a successful and self-supportive theatre group opened its doors here. The Elisabethbühne stages modern pieces, as well as classic plays from way back yonder, "Mephisto" for instance. The central location in Nonntal is a big bonus for this semi-fledgling stage. Over the last few years the theatre has become well known for its highly acclaimed plays for children. But, the more serious plays have also been praised by the critics. Apart from watching a play one can also enjoy readings in the foyer. This is the place for culture vultures.
