Big business takes place in front of St. Andrew's Church from early in the morning until midday every Thursday. Salzburg's farmers come here to sell flowers, traditional handicrafts, eggs, and local fruits and vegetables in any kind of weather. Sausages, home made cakes, and native bakery specialities such as "Bauernkrapfen," "Buchteln" and "Gebackene Mäuse" shouldn't be missed! If Thursday is a public holiday, the market takes place on Wednesday.
