If you are waiting for a bus at the Hanuschplatz bus station, you will inevitably smell the nearby Krieg fish shop! It is the only fish shop in the old town of Salzburg and it has a large range of fresh and salt water fish and seafood. You can always buy fresh trout, rock lobsters and squid. The shop is spacious and the shop assistants are knowledgable. You can also buy fish rolls and other small seafood snacks to take away.
