EmailThe Semana Grande celebrations have traditionally been the period when there was most theater on offer in San Sebastian, but in the last two years it is the Feria de Teatro that has taken the cake. The performances take place on open-air stages as well as in indoor venues. The fair has basically three stages: the teatro Victoria Eugenia, the street, and the local cultural centers (one in each district). The fair, which takes place in mid-late July, mainly features new stage work.
