The Monte Igeldo Amusement Park, which opened in 1912, is located at the western end of La Concha Bay. It has many children's attractions, such the House of Laughter, a mini zoo, a roller-coaster, and pony rides. This amusement park is unique, as it has wonderful views over La Concha Bay, San Sebastian, and the surrounding area. (At night, don't miss the view of the lighthouse that sits below the mountain.) The park has a number of restaurants and cafes, and a hotel next to the tower on the mountain top. You can get there by funicular railway, or from Ondarreta Beach, or by car or bus. From the park, you can catch a bus to the picturesque Parque de Atracciones district, where you can try local specialties in some of the city's most reputable restaurants. Admission: EUR1
