This pavilion was built in 1903 based on the design by architect Ramón Cortázar. It is elliptical in shape and consists of a cast-iron frame with stained-glass windows. The design of the floor surrounding the pavilion is a reproduction of plans by the architect Ugartemendia for the rebuilding of the city after the fire that destroyed much of San Sebastián in 1813. He proposed a complete modification of the Old Quarter, with the creation of a linear urban structure around a central plaza. The pavilion has been restored and moved from the centre of this same boulevard.
