This small bar is an example of San Sebastian's cosmopolitan sector. People of all backgrounds and political bents get together to sample the many specialties here. It is the perfect place to have a pintxo (Basque tapa) and a sandwich. The waiters are family and they will make you feel thoroughly at home. Their specialty is patatas bravas, chunky hot fries served with tomato sauce, mayonnaise and Tabasco sauce. Try also the gildas, a cold tapa made with chillies, anchovies and olives. It is quite spicy, so have it with a glass of wine or a beer.
