This is the successor of Bar Nido, founded in 1917. Later it became Pub el Nido. It has great music and is favored by many thirty-somethings who prefer to stay away from the hectic nightlife area in the town's Parte Vieja. It's a spacious venue with rather subtle yellow lighting and large posters of bullfights and the Tour de France passing through the town. The clientele chat animatedly as they listen to really good music. El Nido is, and has been, the symbol of good music in San Sebastian. Beers and spirits with mixers are recommended.
