Located on a famous street in the old part of town, this roomy bar also contains a restaurant at the back, and has many devoted regulars. Its big wooden counter displays a great selection of hot and cold pintxos, sandwiches, and the ingredients used in their preparation. We recommend the scrambled eggs with wild mushrooms, and the popular mixtos, cheese and cured ham sandwiches that are prepared in front of the customer. Try also the mitxelena -- a tuna, onion and chillies sandwich -- with a glass of the house wine.
