Sapporo Race Course holds races every weekend from May to September. It is a very popular venue for families as well as serious gamblers, with almost 20,000 people turning up for each race day. The track hosts some of the major races in the JRA calendar, and there is serious betting on these events. But this course is not only for adults. There are a number of attractions for children including mini-golf, a jungle gym and pony trekking.
