Palatki ruins believed to have been occupied from A.D. 1130 to 1280 A.D. are located northwest of Sedona and are accessible from West Highway 89A by taking Red Canyon Road North. One of Sedona's largest ruins, two trails lead to the alcoves and dual pueblos. There is a small fee associated with visiting this site, at present it is $5 per person. Two other ruins are nearby; Honanki, and Tuzigoot in Clarkdale. Call the Sedona Ranger District Station at the number above to check road conditions.
