Situated in the historic Paddington Town Hall, the Chauvel was extensively renovated in 1995. It shows a great cross section of movies, from experimental and historical to art house, cinematheque and exclusive new releases. There are two cinemas in the complex which can seat up to 332 people and can be hired for special functions. There are plenty of trendy bars and cafes in the vicinity for pre or post cinema drinks and dinner. Parking is available on the street.
