WebsiteMcWilliam's Wine group is the largest family-owned, 100% Australian wine company in Australia, with vineyards in most of the major wine-growing districts. Their Mount Pleasant operations have had, incredibly, only three winemakers including the present one, Phillip Ryan, since the winery was established in 1921. McWilliams are the only winery in Australia to produce commercial quantities of bottle-aged, non-oak Semillon--a multi-award winner. The McWilliams Mount Pleasant Estate Wine and Food Centre features a gift shop, barbecue area, children's playground and Elizabeth's cafe, which serves country-style fare.
