This gorgeous, old restored winery is situated at the gateway to Mudgee's vineyards, and offers tastings in the cool of its underground cellars. Platts does a range of varietal wines, including a premium Cabernet Sauvignon, but its real strength is its wide ranging selection of whites: Semillon, Traminer, and of course, its flagship Chardonnay. There is also an exhibition space, featuring regularly changing displays of local art, and a cafe/function area.
