This walk begins with steps! The Argyle Stairs, then, across Cumberland Street, and then the Bridge Stairs. These bring you to one of Sydney's most famous icons. Standing on the Sydney Harbour Bridge is not only an exhilarating feeling, but also offers fantastic views. The three to four kilometre walk takes you across the bridge, to Milsons Point, (go down Broughton Stairs) into Lavender Bay. Here you can see historical and cultural buildings. Look out for the Old Coaching Stop in King George Street and several interesting churches. You can return to the city by train from North Sydney Station.
